Welcome to Saddletramp Shorthairs,.
Growing up my wife and I always had dogs, her family had shorthairs, and even a setter or two I believe, don't worry Jen I won't hold it against you. As for me, well that's a long story but,  I was introduced to bird dogs with a Gordon, who was an ok bird dog it really would depend on what side of the kennel 'ole Duke woke up on, and definitely a one person dog. Along with the Gordon and Black and Tans, Redbones, Beagles, and some Pointers thrown in the mix, as well as a few mutts my love for dogs was apparent, add to the fact that I had a family of hunters, and the rest is kind of self explanatory.

I do attend some local field trials, as well as some hunt tests, but I am first and foremost a hunter, That is my passion the rest is just some off season activities to entertain myself and the dogs.
